Service Technician Delivery Driver
Small business located in Fairfield County seeking a full time Service and Delivery professional for its Westport office location to service and deliver hot tubs to our customer base all over CT and surrounding areas. We are a local retailer that was established in 1999 looking for a strong, self-motivated individual to join our service/delivery/warehouse team. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and must have the ability to lift well over 100 pounds. Previous forklift, warehouse, trailer driving, or spa knowledge are a plus; however, willing to train the right individual (strong references needed for consideration). The candidate MUST be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record to apply. Also, must pass a pre-employment screening and background check.
Position Description:
Position will be responsible for servicing and delivering hot tubs, furniture, & cabinetry. The service and delivery professional is an ambitious individual that can work independently in an exciting and fast paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Keeping the warehouse neat, clean and organized is imperative
- Heavy lifting/loading/dolling with safety being important at all times
- Multitask in a customer focused, fast paced environment
- Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manor, even in stressful situations
- Consistently make good decisions with minimal supervision
Knowledge and Experience:
- Ability to inspect, wrap, pack and load merchandise properly for delivery
- Familiarity with Hot Tub or Pool Industry, including water chemistry
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic computer skills – email, internet, etc
