MegaChlor
The MegaChlor requires no pool or swim spa modification. Simply attach the control panel near the pool, add 2 pounds of salt per 100 gallons of pool water, hang the electrode into the water, and plug it in.

The MegaChlor makes chlorine on a 3-hour cycle. Every 3 hours, it starts making chlorine, and based on the power level, it will run for a fixed amount of time and then switch to standby mode. At the next 3-hour mark, it will start again. For example, at power level 5, it will be on for 45 minutes, off for 2 hours and 15 minutes (3 hours minus 45 minutes), on for 45 minutes, etc. If you use the spa and let the MegaChlor know by pressing the boost button, it will be put into boost mode and run for 3 times the normal amount of time. That way, the MegaChlor can get a jumpstart on replenishing the chlorine that just got used.
